“This may be why, when I stop to watch to see the juxtapositions …
… become constructions, they assimilate into my eye and give me the opportunity to look at me knowingly. I dive into the spaces in between them as if to drag me to remain in the infinite folds of her eyes. I discover that there is no depth to the surface except itself. The multiplicity of textures in the collages of Theo Bleckmann makes me touch the flesh. All but one skin, one beyond it, fragmented infinite variations which leave the surface to be reflected throughout the mysterious depths of the other. It has always been there as the only reality of a home.”
